Introduction
Clinical outcomes analysis is becoming a critical factor in managing and evaluating medical practice. Access to accurate and reliable clinical and financial outcomes information is the first step in providing the highest quality of patient care. Patients, providers, and payers, as well as peer review programs and regulatory agencies, are demanding objective data to determine quality of care. The technology available to support this demand has historically been difficult to use, expensive and generally inadequate for the complexity of the task.
Certified by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Outcomes 3 has won the support of cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, and data managers in many of the most prestigious institutions in the country. University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Emory University, Louisiana State University, and University of Washington, are among the many institutions that have selected Outcomes 3 as the primary solution for information management. Outcomes 3 has been installed in more than 80 practices representing nearly 200 clinical and research establishments across the country. Over the past two years the Outcomes 3 model has readily been adapted to a variety of clinical information requirements.
